By accessing, browsing, or using Milalo (the "Service"), you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms of Service and our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated herein by reference.

These Terms constitute a legally binding agreement between you ("User," "you," or "your") and Milalo ("we," "us," or "our"). Your use of the Service signifies your acceptance of these Terms.

If you are using the Service on behalf of an organization, you represent and warrant that you have the authority to bind that organization to these Terms.

2. Description of Service

Milalo is a promise tracking platform that enables users to:

• Create Promises: Set personal goals with titles, descriptions, and deadlines
• Track Progress: View countdown timers and progress indicators for promises
• Share Publicly: Display promises on the public Promise Wall for accountability
• Keep Private: Option to create private promises accessible only via unique ID
• Share Links: Share specific promises via unique URLs
• Search: Find promises by ID or search public promises by keywords

2.1 Service Features

The Service includes the following features:

• Real-time countdown timers displaying days, hours, minutes, and seconds
• Progress bars showing time elapsed since promise creation
• Six category options: Personal, Work, Health, Relationships, Fun, and Other
• 8-character unique Promise IDs for each promise
• Shareable URLs for individual promises

2.2 Service Availability

We strive to maintain the Service's availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted access. The Service may be temporarily unavailable due to maintenance, updates, or circumstances beyond our control.

3. Eligibility

To use Milalo, you must:

• Be at least 13 years of age (or the minimum age in your jurisdiction)
• Have the legal capacity to enter into a binding agreement
• Not be prohibited from using the Service under applicable laws
• Provide accurate information when using the Service

If you are under 18, you represent that you have your parent's or guardian's permission to use the Service and that they have read and agree to these Terms.

4. Account and Promise IDs

4.1 No Account Required

Milalo does not require user registration or accounts. Anyone can create and view promises without signing up.

4.2 Promise IDs

When you create a promise, you receive a unique 8-character Promise ID. This ID:

• Is the only way to retrieve your promise later
• Should be saved securely by you
• Cannot be recovered if lost (we do not track promise ownership)
• Can be shared to allow others to view your promise

4.3 Your Responsibility

You are solely responsible for:

• Saving and securing your Promise IDs
• Any content you submit through the Service
• Ensuring your promises do not violate these Terms

5. User Conduct and Content Guidelines

5.1 Acceptable Use

You agree to use Milalo only for lawful purposes and in accordance with these Terms. When creating promises, you should:

• Create genuine personal goals and commitments
• Use appropriate language suitable for all audiences
• Respect other users and the community
• Provide accurate information in your promises

5.2 Content Standards

All content you submit must:

• Be accurate and not misleading
• Be your original work or you have rights to share it
• Not infringe on any third-party rights
• Comply with all applicable laws and regulations

6. Prohibited Activities

You may NOT use Milalo to:

6.1 Content Violations

• Post profane, obscene, or vulgar content
• Submit hateful, discriminatory, or harassing content
• Share violent, threatening, or harmful material
• Post sexually explicit or suggestive content
• Promote illegal activities or substances
• Share personal information of others without consent

6.2 Spam and Abuse

• Create multiple promises in rapid succession (rate limited)
• Post promotional content, advertisements, or spam
• Include URLs, links, or web addresses in promises
• Use excessive capitalization or special characters
• Submit duplicate or repetitive content
• Use the Service for commercial purposes without authorization

6.3 Technical Violations

• Attempt to bypass rate limiting or security measures
• Use automated bots, scrapers, or similar tools
• Attempt to access unauthorized areas of the Service
• Interfere with the proper functioning of the Service
• Attempt to reverse engineer or hack the Service
• Introduce viruses, malware, or malicious code
• Overload our servers or infrastructure

6.4 Legal Violations

• Violate any applicable laws or regulations
• Infringe intellectual property rights of others
• Engage in fraudulent or deceptive practices
• Impersonate others or misrepresent your identity

7. Content Policy and Moderation

7.1 Automated Filtering

We employ automated systems to filter inappropriate content, including:

• Profanity detection and filtering
• Spam pattern recognition
• URL and link detection
• Excessive capitalization detection
• Promotional content identification

7.2 Rate Limiting

To prevent abuse, we limit promise creation to:

• 2 promises per 15 minutes per IP address
• Violations may result in temporary blocking
• Repeated violations may result in permanent IP blocking

7.3 Content Removal

We reserve the right to remove any content that:

• Violates these Terms of Service
• Is reported and found to be inappropriate
• We determine, in our sole discretion, is harmful

7.4 No Pre-Screening

We do not pre-screen user content but may review content after it is posted. We are not responsible for user-generated content.

8. Intellectual Property Rights

8.1 Our Intellectual Property

The Milalo name, logo, website design, graphics, user interface, and all software code are owned by Milalo and protected by intellectual property laws. You may not:

• Copy, modify, or distribute our intellectual property
• Use our branding without written permission
• Create derivative works based on our Service
• Remove any copyright or trademark notices

8.2 Your Content

You retain ownership of the content you create. However, by submitting content to Milalo, you grant us a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to:

• Display your public promises on the Promise Wall
• Store your promises in our database
• Make your content accessible via the Service features
• Use anonymized data for service improvement

8.3 Copyright Complaints

If you believe content on Milalo infringes your copyright, please contact us at dnlgby@gmail.com with:

• Description of the copyrighted work
• Location of the infringing content (Promise ID)
• Your contact information
• Statement of good faith belief

9. Privacy and Data Protection

Your privacy is important to us. Our collection, use, and protection of your data is governed by our Privacy Policy.

10. Disclaimers and Warranties

• Results from using the Service will be accurate

• User-generated content on the Service
• Third-party advertisements displayed
• Third-party services integrated with Milalo

11. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, MILALO AND ITS OPERATORS SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR:

• Any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages
• Loss of profits, data, use, or goodwill
• Service interruptions or data loss
• Actions of other users
• Unauthorized access to your promises
• Any matter beyond our reasonable control

IN NO EVENT SHALL OUR TOTAL LIABILITY EXCEED THE AMOUNT YOU PAID TO USE THE SERVICE (WHICH IS $0 FOR FREE SERVICES).

Some jurisdictions do not allow limitation of liability, so these limitations may not apply to you.

You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless Milalo and its operators, employees, and agents from any claims, damages, losses, liabilities, and expenses (including attorneys' fees) arising from:
